Building on the Existing TapLook and RideSenior Ecosystem, We Are Launching BABA MICRO-FRANCHISE™ to Expand Our Impact Even Further

Over the years, our journey in senior services has continued to evolve around one central belief: older adults and their families deserve easier access to trusted, convenient and community-based services that support everyday life. Through the development of TapLook and RideSenior, we have gained valuable experience in connecting customers with service providers, coordinating mobile services across different communities, building technology to support bookings and operations, and understanding how local service networks can grow when they are supported by a larger ecosystem.

TapLook was developed to make mobile beauty and personal care services more accessible to older adults and other customers who prefer to receive services where they live. RideSenior expanded that experience into senior transportation, with a particular focus on helping older adults access medical appointments, hospital transportation and other important destinations. Although these two platforms serve different needs, they share the same fundamental idea: instead of expecting customers to adapt to traditional service models, we can build services around the everyday realities of the people who need them.

BabaTap represents the next stage of that vision. Rather than focusing on only one category of service, BabaTap is being developed as a broader senior-services network connecting older adults and families with everyday non-medical support in their communities. Companionship, transportation, grocery and errand assistance, meal preparation, hospital companionship, check-in visits, light home support, walking and exercise companionship, technology assistance and other approved services can become part of one connected ecosystem designed around the changing needs of seniors.

Building on the experience, technology and service infrastructure developed through TapLook and RideSenior, we are now preparing to introduce a new approach to local entrepreneurship and network expansion: BABA MICRO-FRANCHISE™.

A New Approach to Building Local Senior-Service Businesses

Traditional franchising has helped many brands expand successfully, but conventional franchise models can also create a significant financial barrier for people who have the ability and motivation to operate a business but do not have access to substantial startup capital. Depending on the industry, a franchisee may need to invest heavily in a physical location, equipment, staffing and other infrastructure before serving their first customer, which naturally limits the number of people who can realistically participate.

BABA MICRO-FRANCHISE™ is being designed around a different philosophy. Instead of asking every new franchise owner to begin by controlling an entire city or developing a large organization immediately, BabaTap can divide larger markets into smaller local territories based on communities, postal codes, geographic boundaries and market characteristics. This gives an approved Local Owner the opportunity to concentrate on a manageable area, understand the seniors and families within that community, establish local relationships, recruit BabaTap Pros and gradually develop the business as customer demand grows.

The objective is not to reduce the standards expected from franchise owners or service providers. Instead, the objective is to remove unnecessary financial and operational barriers while maintaining strong requirements around training, reliability, service quality, customer experience and compliance with BabaTap standards. This philosophy can be summarized simply as Low Barrier, High Standards, because making entrepreneurship more accessible should never require lowering the level of trust expected from a brand serving seniors.

Introducing the BabaTap Founding Franchise Opportunity

As BabaTap enters new communities, selected territories may initially become available through the BabaTap Founding Franchise Program, with opportunities starting from CAD $2,500. This starting level is intended to encourage qualified early operators to participate in building BabaTap within new markets, rather than permanently establishing the value of every BabaTap franchise at $2,500.

Territory value can change substantially as a market develops. A completely new territory where BabaTap has limited customer activity is very different from an established territory where the network already has customers, BabaTap Pros, local recognition, booking history, partnerships or recurring business activity. For this reason, future franchise fees may vary according to territory size, market maturity, existing BabaTap activity and other relevant business factors, allowing BabaTap to recognize early participants while also reflecting the increasing value of developed markets.

This approach gives Founding Owners an opportunity to participate at an earlier stage while helping BabaTap protect the long-term value of the network. As the brand becomes stronger and individual markets become more established, newly available territories may be offered at higher franchise fees, while operating territories with established revenue may require individual valuation.

Importantly, a lower initial financial barrier does not mean that every applicant will automatically be accepted. BabaTap intends to maintain an approval process that may include application review, interviews, training, eligibility requirements and other appropriate checks before a franchise is awarded. The long-term strength of BabaTap will depend not only on how many territories are opened, but also on the quality and commitment of the people responsible for developing those territories.

Protected Local Territories Within One Connected BabaTap Network

One of the most important principles behind BABA MICRO-FRANCHISE™ is the creation of clearly defined local territories. Rather than selling an entire metropolitan area to a single franchisee, a large city can potentially be divided into multiple BabaTap Local territories, allowing more entrepreneurs to participate while keeping each owner closely connected to the community they serve.

A BabaTap Local territory may be defined by postal codes, neighborhoods, communities, geographic boundaries or other market criteria established by BabaTap. Subject to the applicable Franchise Agreement, an approved Local Owner can receive protected operating rights within that defined territory, helping reduce unnecessary competition between BabaTap franchisees and giving each owner a clearer reason to invest time and resources in building the BabaTap brand locally.

Customer routing can also be connected to the location where a service is actually delivered. A family may discover BabaTap through a national advertisement, Google, social media, a referral, the BabaTap website, a centralized campaign or another BabaTap channel, but when the service address is located within an applicable protected territory, the opportunity can be routed according to BabaTap’s territory and booking policies. This creates a system in which Corporate can continue investing in the overall brand while Local Owners benefit from developing their respective markets.

At the same time, BabaTap Corporate can continue to manage the infrastructure that connects the entire network, including the brand, technology, website, customer accounts, booking systems, payment infrastructure, training programs, quality standards and other shared resources. Local Owners can therefore focus more of their attention on customers, community relationships, BabaTap Pro development and local business growth rather than attempting to build every piece of infrastructure independently.

This creates an important balance within the model: Corporate builds and strengthens the platform while Local Owners build and strengthen their territories.

Creating a Path from BabaTap Pro to Business Ownership

One of the most distinctive ideas behind the BabaTap model is that future franchise owners do not necessarily need to come exclusively from outside the organization. BabaTap is also developing a pathway that could allow qualified members of its own service network to progress toward local business ownership through EARN YOUR BABA™.

A BabaTap Pro may begin by providing approved services within the network, completing training, serving customers and gradually building a track record of reliability and quality. Over time, strong performance can demonstrate far more than financial capacity alone because the individual has already experienced the BabaTap system, interacted with customers, followed operational standards and developed an understanding of how the network functions.

Under an applicable BabaTap program, qualified BabaTap Pros may have opportunities to earn franchise credits based on factors such as completed bookings, customer satisfaction, Trust Score, reliability, training completion, quality standards and overall performance. Those credits may then be applied toward an eligible BabaTap Local franchise, subject to the rules and qualifications established by BabaTap.

The broader purpose of this program is to create an entrepreneurial pathway inside the network itself. Someone may initially join BabaTap because they want flexible opportunities to serve people in their community, but strong performance and ambition could eventually lead them toward managing a territory, recruiting other BabaTap Pros and developing a local business of their own.

In this way, BabaTap can potentially create a progression from BabaTap Pro to BabaTap Local Owner, transforming participation in the service network into an opportunity for long-term entrepreneurship.

Start Your BabaTap, Earn Your BabaTap and Grow Your BabaTap

The BabaTap ownership journey is designed around three connected pathways that reflect different stages of entrepreneurship. START YOUR BABA™ is intended for qualified entrepreneurs who want to apply directly for an available BabaTap Local territory and begin developing the business after completing BabaTap’s approval, training and franchise requirements. EARN YOUR BABA™ creates a potential pathway for high-performing BabaTap Pros who want to progress from providing services toward business ownership. GROW YOUR BABA™ is intended for successful Local Owners who have demonstrated the operational ability, customer satisfaction and financial capacity required to expand into additional available territories.

This structure allows BabaTap to develop franchise owners both externally and internally while rewarding performance over time. A new entrepreneur may begin with one small territory rather than making a large investment across an entire city, while an experienced owner who consistently delivers strong results may eventually become a Multi-Territory Owner responsible for several connected local markets.

This approach also helps prevent territory speculation. BabaTap does not want individuals acquiring multiple territories simply to prevent others from developing them. Multi-territory opportunities can therefore be connected to performance requirements and development schedules, ensuring that territories are actively built rather than simply held for future resale or strategic control.

The philosophy is straightforward: BabaTap wants people to be able to start small, but it does not want successful entrepreneurs to remain small simply because that is where they began.

Technology at the Centre, Human Relationships at the Heart

BabaTap is being developed as a technology-enabled service network, but technology is not intended to replace the human relationships that make senior services meaningful. Its purpose is to make those relationships easier to organize, support and scale.

Through shared technology, BabaTap can progressively centralize important functions such as customer bookings, payments, customer accounts, service history, reviews, training, quality management and operational support. A Local Owner therefore does not need to build an independent booking platform, payment infrastructure, training system and customer-management environment before beginning operations.

This shared infrastructure creates efficiency across the network while allowing Local Owners to concentrate on activities that are difficult to centralize, including understanding their communities, building relationships with families and local organizations, developing reliable teams and ensuring that customers receive consistent service.

The result is a model that combines the scalability of a digital platform with the accountability of local ownership. Technology connects the network, while people create the relationships that give the network value.

Building a Network That Can Grow Without Losing Its Local Identity

As BabaTap expands, maintaining clear boundaries between local ownership and larger network development will be essential. For this reason, future City Developers or Regional Developers can be structured as network-development roles rather than owners who automatically take control of existing Local territories.

A City Developer may help expand BabaTap across a metropolitan market, support franchise recruitment, build community relationships and strengthen local operations without taking customers away from existing BabaTap Local Owners. Similarly, a Regional Developer may help expand the network across a larger geographic area while respecting the rights already granted to Local franchisees under their agreements.

This structure allows BabaTap to grow vertically through stronger regional leadership without creating unnecessary horizontal conflict among Local Owners. Corporate can focus on brand, technology, national development and shared infrastructure, while regional and city-level developers help strengthen the network and Local Owners remain focused on building their individual markets.

Such a structure becomes increasingly important as BabaTap expands because sustainable scale requires both centralized consistency and decentralized local leadership.

Building Long-Term Value Beyond the Initial Franchise Fee

BABA MICRO-FRANCHISE™ is not intended to become a system where Corporate succeeds primarily by continuously selling new franchises. A stronger model is one in which Corporate’s long-term success becomes increasingly connected to the success of Local Owners through appropriately structured franchise fees, platform fees, royalties and other disclosed programs or services.

The initial franchise fee can help establish the relationship and support the expansion of the network, but recurring business activity is what can create lasting economic value. When Local Owners attract customers, expand their teams and increase service volume, the entire BabaTap ecosystem becomes stronger. Corporate can then reinvest in technology, marketing, customer acquisition, training and network development, which in turn can create additional value for Local Owners.

This alignment is fundamental to the philosophy of BabaTap because a franchise network cannot remain healthy if Corporate succeeds while its franchisees struggle. The objective should be to create a system where both sides have a reason to focus on sustainable customer demand, strong service quality and long-term territory development.

Rather than depending on a small number of extremely expensive franchise transactions, BabaTap’s long-term vision is to build a broad network of local entrepreneurs connected through one brand and one technology ecosystem. Hundreds of Local Owners can eventually become thousands, and each successful territory can strengthen the recognition, customer reach and economic value of the overall network.

Building on What We Have Learned Through TapLook and RideSenior

BABA MICRO-FRANCHISE™ is not being developed as an isolated business concept. It represents the next step in a broader ecosystem that has been shaped by the experience of TapLook and RideSenior.

TapLook has provided experience in coordinating mobile services and connecting customers with service professionals in their own homes, retirement communities, hospitals and other locations. RideSenior has expanded our understanding of senior mobility, medical transportation and the operational importance of dependable local service providers. BabaTap brings those lessons together within a broader vision focused on everyday senior support.

A senior may need transportation to an appointment today, companionship later in the week and help with groceries or technology at another time. Their family may need someone dependable to check in, accompany them to an appointment or provide another approved non-medical service when relatives cannot be present themselves. Instead of treating every requirement as an isolated transaction, BabaTap is being built around the possibility of developing a longer-term relationship between seniors, families, local providers and the wider network.

The combination of TapLook, RideSenior and BabaTap therefore creates something larger than three individual service categories. It creates the foundation for an ecosystem capable of supporting different parts of everyday senior life while giving local entrepreneurs opportunities to participate in that growth.

One Community at a Time, Connected by One BabaTap Ecosystem

The long-term vision behind BabaTap is ambitious, but the method of achieving it remains intentionally local. We believe a strong national or international network can be created by empowering people to build meaningful businesses within the communities they already understand rather than attempting to control every customer relationship from one centralized location.

A Local Owner who understands their community can build relationships that technology alone cannot create. Those relationships can generate trust, trust can create recurring customers, recurring customers can support a team, and a strong team can transform a small territory into a sustainable local business. When the same process is repeated across hundreds or thousands of communities, the collective result can become significantly larger than any individual location.

This is the vision behind BABA MICRO-FRANCHISE™: an accessible but carefully managed path into entrepreneurship, supported by technology, protected local territories, shared standards and a growing senior-services ecosystem.

We want to create a system where people can begin at a manageable scale without being permanently limited by that starting point, where strong BabaTap Pros can see a pathway toward ownership, where successful Local Owners can expand into additional territories, and where Corporate grows by helping the entire network become stronger.

Building on the existing foundation of TapLook and RideSenior, BabaTap is preparing to take that next step by connecting entrepreneurship, technology and community-based senior support within one scalable ecosystem.

Our philosophy remains clear: Start Small, Serve Local and Grow with BabaTap, because the strongest network may ultimately be built not by one organization trying to operate everywhere on its own, but by thousands of committed local entrepreneurs working within one trusted and connected BabaTap ecosystem.

BabaTap.
