Depending on the program, the benefit can fully cover, partially cover, or provide care credits toward eligible services.
Covered services depend on the benefit program, location, and eligibility rules. Eligible services may include companion care, grocery shopping, errands, meal preparation, light home support, technology assistance, hospital companionship, senior transportation, and mobile personal care services such as haircuts, manicures, and pedicures.
The benefit is available to eligible employees or members whose employer, health plan, insurer, or participating organization offers BabaTap Family Care Benefit™. Depending on the program, employees and members may be able to use the benefit to support an eligible parent, loved one, or family member
Once the available benefit balance has been used, the employee can continue booking eligible services by paying the remaining cost directly, subject to the applicable service and program rules. Employees can always see the portion covered by their benefit and any remaining amount they may need to pay.
Yes. Employers and participating organizations can choose a fully sponsored benefit that covers 100% of eligible service costs, meaning the employee may pay $0 out of pocket for covered services. Organizations can also choose partial coverage or a customized funding arrangement.
When an eligible employee or member books a service, they enter their BabaTap Benefit Code. The system verifies their eligibility and applies the available benefit to the eligible service. Depending on the organization’s plan, the benefit may cover all or part of the service, with the employee paying any remaining balance.
Yes. BabaTap Family Care Benefit™ is designed to help employees support the people they love, including eligible parents and loved ones. For example, an employee may use the benefit to arrange transportation, companionship, errands, or other eligible care services for an aging parent.
