BabaTap is continuing to expand across the United States, but our network of BabaTap Pros is still developing, which means there are currently cities and communities where customer demand has arrived before we have been able to establish sufficient local service coverage. In some areas, we may receive a request even though there is not yet a BabaTap Pro available nearby, while in other locations we may already have begun developing our local network but still do not have enough available Pros to confidently and consistently fulfill customer requests at the dates and times needed. We understand how disappointing this can be, particularly when a customer has taken the time to learn about BabaTap, submit a request, explain the support their loved one needs, and wait for us to check local availability, only to receive a response explaining that we are not yet able to serve their area.
We want every customer who has experienced this situation to know that we recognize the inconvenience and frustration it may cause, and we are sincerely sorry that our current coverage does not yet allow us to say yes to every family that reaches out to us. When someone contacts BabaTap, they are usually looking for a practical solution rather than an explanation about network expansion, and we understand that being told a service is unavailable does not solve the immediate challenge facing that family. At the same time, we believe it is important to communicate honestly about our current capabilities rather than confirming a service when we do not have a suitable BabaTap Pro available to provide it reliably.
Our goal is not simply to place as many people as possible into as many cities as possible in the shortest amount of time, because BabaTap is being developed as a community-based support network in which reliability, professionalism, communication, respect, patience, and a genuine willingness to help older adults and families are fundamental to the experience we want to provide. BabaTap Pros may support customers in private homes, hospitals, retirement communities, during errands and appointments, or in other everyday situations where families are placing a meaningful level of trust in the person providing the service, and for that reason we believe responsible expansion is more important than rapid expansion without sufficient attention to the people representing BabaTap.
Finding the right BabaTap Pros in each community therefore takes time, particularly because availability alone does not automatically mean that someone is the appropriate person for every customer request. A strong local network requires people who are dependable, understand the responsibilities associated with supporting seniors and families, communicate professionally, respect individual needs and boundaries, and are genuinely interested in providing helpful and compassionate everyday support. As BabaTap continues recruiting and developing its network, we want to maintain this focus rather than lowering expectations simply to announce that a new city has been added to our service map.
This approach can occasionally mean that our expansion moves more slowly than customer demand, and we know that this is particularly difficult when a family needs assistance now rather than several months from now. Nevertheless, we believe customers deserve an honest answer about local availability, because confirming a request without confidence that an appropriate BabaTap Pro can actually provide the service would create an even more difficult situation for the customer. When we are unable to find someone suitable in a particular area, we would rather communicate that limitation clearly while continuing to build local capacity than create an expectation that we may ultimately be unable to fulfill.
Every request from an area we cannot yet serve is also important information for our team because it helps us understand where families are actively looking for support and where the BabaTap Pro network needs to grow next. When several requests begin coming from the same city or surrounding communities, those requests provide a clearer picture of local demand and reinforce the importance of developing stronger coverage in that region. Reliable coverage also requires more than having a single BabaTap Pro registered in a particular city, because one person may already be supporting another customer, may not be available on the requested day, or may not be the appropriate match for the type of assistance being requested. For BabaTap to provide dependable service in a community, there ultimately needs to be enough local capacity to respond to different schedules and customer circumstances, which is why a city may sometimes appear within our growing network while certain requests in that area still cannot immediately be fulfilled.
As we continue building this capacity, we remain focused on the reason BabaTap exists in the first place: many older adults and their families need practical forms of everyday assistance that may appear simple but can make a meaningful difference in daily life. Spending time in conversation with someone who has been alone for much of the week, helping a customer complete grocery shopping, accompanying someone during an appointment or outing, preparing a simple meal, assisting with technology, taking a gentle walk together, helping with a pet, or providing companionship during a hospital visit can reduce some of the everyday pressure experienced by both seniors and their families.
These services are fundamentally human, which means technology can support BabaTap but cannot replace the people who make the service possible. Our platform can help customers submit requests, organize service information, connect with local Pros, manage communication, and make the overall process more convenient, but a website or application cannot provide patience, companionship, conversation, kindness, attentiveness, or a reassuring human presence. The strength of BabaTap will ultimately depend on the quality and commitment of the people who participate in the network, which is another reason we believe the development of local coverage should be approached thoughtfully.
For families who have already contacted us and received a message explaining that BabaTap is currently unavailable in their area, we want to emphasize that this does not mean your community is unimportant to us, nor does it mean that BabaTap has no intention of serving your region. In many cases, your request may actually be one of the signals showing us where the network should continue growing, and as additional requests arrive from nearby communities, the need for local BabaTap Pros becomes increasingly clear. Although we may not be able to provide the service requested today, we hope to build the capacity that will allow us to provide a different answer in the future.

Our long-term vision for BabaTap USA extends beyond a small number of major metropolitan areas, because seniors and families who need everyday support live in large cities, suburban communities, smaller municipalities, and areas outside major urban centers. We believe that where someone lives should not make their need for companionship or practical everyday assistance any less important, although reaching a geographically diverse population requires a network that develops community by community rather than appearing everywhere at once.
This is why we view BabaTap USA as something that must grow through local participation rather than simply through geographic announcements. Opening a service area on a map is easy, but building enough dependable local capacity to actually support customers is considerably more important, and we want our expansion decisions to reflect that difference. Our objective is to develop communities where customers can request assistance with greater confidence that someone suitable will be available, rather than claiming broad coverage that does not correspond with the actual strength of the local network.
There will still be occasions during this growth period when a customer reaches out and we have to respond that we are sorry but do not yet have an available BabaTap Pro in their area. Those are not messages we enjoy sending, because each one represents a family we would have preferred to support, but they also remind us that BabaTap still has communities to reach and a network to strengthen. Instead of viewing these situations simply as unsuccessful bookings, we see them as reminders of why continued recruitment, community awareness, and responsible expansion remain important.
We also want customers to understand that BabaTap will not intentionally compromise the quality of its network simply to respond more quickly to geographic demand, because the trust placed in someone supporting an older adult deserves careful consideration. Growth is important to us, but growth should strengthen the service rather than weaken the standards behind it, and we believe that building a dependable network gradually provides a stronger foundation for families over the long term.
